Gruner presents new demonstrators and new actuator

Gruner AG will once again be exhibiting at the Automotive Interiors Expo in Stuttgart this year. Following their successful debut last year, this year they will be showcasing new demonstrators at their stand to show what the haptic feedback of tomorrow could feel like in automotive interiors.
Early September 2025 - Two months to go until the trade fair starts. The members of the innovation team solenoids are busy building the demonstrators for the Automotive Interiors Expo. The aim is to give visitors a broad overview of where Gruner's active haptic actuators can be used and what is possible. Experience has shown that the best way to convince people is to let them experience the haptics for themselves—e.g. by pressing a button or turning a rotary knob.

Active haptic feedback makes user interfaces and operating elements safer, more intuitive, more comfortable and of a higher quality. Gruner has in-depth expertise in the field of tactile feedback technology and offers customer-specific solutions and standard actuators for all types of operating systems. Whether for displays, touchpads, light strips, steering wheel switches, gear selector switches, overhead consoles, or smart surfaces.

Product highlight are Gruner's new HSA actuators, which will be integrated into the demonstrators. HSA (Haptic Sense Audio) actuators are three-in-one actuators, combining haptic feedback, force sensing, and audio output.

Advantages:

·        Maximum flexibility of the haptic signal: The direct drive concept enables a wide variety of signal shapes over a broad frequency range.

·       Extremely precise feedback:There is no latency and very short event times can be achieved (<9- 15ms).

·       Variable application:The actuators are available in different sizes, for single buttons to large displays.
