powerRibs™ is a natural fibre composite reinforcement engineered to significantly increase the bending stiffness of thin-walled laminates by producing a ribbed surface structure that mimicks leaf venation for high performance and lightweight applications. This high-performance reinforcement grid adds maximal stiffness at minimal weight for thin-walled shell elements such as bodywork or interior panels for vehicles, enabling dematerialisation, as well as weight and plastic reduction, and improving safety by confining the impact zone and shattering.
