Dr Jose Pereira spent 10 years involved in academic/industrial R&D on vehicle powertrain and bio-fuel technology, before moving to JLR in the UK, where he spent eight years working with cross-functional teams in strategy, marketing and technical development on a range of topics ranging from vehicle performance and efficiency, infotainment features and long-term product/technology strategy and planning. He has been at Frost & Sullivan for four years, supporting the automotive and transportation group’s mobility advisory practice as a director, managing global project teams and advising clients on their growth opportunities and challenges, with particular emphasis on the impact of technology, regulation and consumer attitudes on industry disruption.
