Luís Sousa holds a PhD in materials science and works as a researcher at CENTI – Centre for Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials. The research focuses on printed electronics, particularly the development of printed sensors for battery monitoring. CENTI explores scalable manufacturing techniques for integrating sensing capabilities into energy storage systems, contributing to safer and more efficient battery technologies for emerging applications such as electric mobility and smart energy devices.
