Makrolon Ai polycarbonates offer design freedom, transparency, heat resistance and weight reduction for components like back-lit touch surfaces, edge lighting, ambient lighting and human-machine interfaces. Makrolon TC enables metal replacement with on-par heat management performance for heat sinks in the interior of the car. Makrofol polycarbonate films enable printed, even 3D cover plates for display integration and printed electronics for touchscreens. Meanwhile, Platilon thermoplastic polyurethane films are used for bonding different materials such as textiles.
