Rodrigo "Rod" Galdino is a designer, artist, and concept artist based in Southern California. A Star Wars and NASA enthusiast, he began his career in 2000 as an intern at VW Design in Brazil. He gained extensive experience as an interior designer for major OEMs like VW, GM, Ford, and VW/Audi Design Center in Santa Monica. In 2016, he transitioned to startups, working at Karma, FF, FAW, and Fisker. By 2022, he became Director of Interior Design at Canoo, responsible for the NASA’s CTVs design development. Rod recently rejoined VW DCC as the Lead for Interior Design. He also teaches at ArtCenter College of Design, in Pasadena.
