David Muyres

David Muyres is an experienced innovation and product development leader with a passion for creatively solving new mobility challenges. He has held functional and executive management positions in Europe, Asia and North America across the automotive industry. In addition to his broad corporate experience, he has also held leadership positions in academia, started non-profits, and partnered in a consulting office in Washington, DC. David Muyres is currently the Chief Commercial Officer and Co-Founder of Streetscope, a start-up focused on safety in the new mobility world. Previously he was responsible for Global Product Innovation, Consumer Research and Advanced Technology teams at Yanfeng Automotive, a Director at the Global Corporate Innovation Center at Johnson Controls in Milwaukee, WI and the Vice President, Educational Initiatives, for Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. In December 2008, Mr. Muyres was asked to provide testimony on the future of the automotive industry to Rep. Ed Markey’s House Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming in Washington, DC.
